Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support the order entry department, the remote Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician will adjudicate insurance claims, handle order exceptions, and collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and obtain prior authorizations during standard business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections in a multi-state environment
- Manage routine notifications of insurance issues and communicate with caregivers
- Stay updated on current Medicare/Medicaid policies and common insurance practices
Required qualifications
- Must possess a TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
- Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy environment
- 1+ year of recent experience with FrameworkLTC
- Working knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid in Texas
- Type an average of 50 wpm
