Job Summary

To support the United States Coast Guard, the remote Lead Physician Assistant will manage medical record reviews, adjudicate medical waivers, and conduct military medical assessments while ensuring compliance with relevant policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical record reviews and adjudicate medical waivers for applicants
• Perform military medical assessments and ensure adherence to USCG and DoD medical policies
• Analyze discharge rosters to identify medical waiver cases and provide feedback on training outcomes

Required qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in a medical field from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state
• Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of three years of experience in medical record review or military medical assessments
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems, including Cerner EMR and MHS GENESIS
