Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Physician Assistant will manage new and follow-up headache patients, conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating treatment plans while working remotely with occasional in-person training in Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental conditions through examinations and medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate medical therapies and treatments
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans
Required qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Less than 1 year of experience preferred; experience in headache medicine is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
