Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time contract Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Women's Health will provide comprehensive, holistic psychiatric care to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth model, averaging 5-10 hours a week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide holistic psychiatric care through a remote telehealth model, focusing on women's mental health across reproductive life stages
- Collaborate with clients' therapists to ensure high-quality clinical care and maintain a patient-centered approach
- Conduct intake and follow-up appointments, utilizing clinical judgment to determine appropriate session lengths
Required qualifications
- Active Board Certified TX PMHNP license in good standing
- Minimum one year of experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population
- At least six months of telehealth experience
- Solid understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and psychiatric care considerations during the perinatal and perimenopausal/menopausal period
- Empathetic and adaptable, motivated to grow within an early-stage startup environment
