Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse - Prior Authorization Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Process and communicate Specialty medication prior authorization referrals for Pharmacy and Medical benefits
• Manage inbound phone calls, process cases, load authorizations, and conduct follow-up calls
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform data entry and reporting in computer systems

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license or eligibility to sit for the Practical Nurse Licensure Examination
• Prior authorization experience in a Managed Care Organization (MDO) or clinical setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• High School Diploma or GED
• Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days of employment
