Texas Licensed Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and operationalization of enterprise data solutions, the full-time Texas Licensed Principal Data Engineer will develop integrated data pipelines and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data accessibility and analytics delivery, all while working remotely within Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery, integrating data governance processes and developing enterprise data pipelines
• Manage compliance with data governance and security requirements, ensuring data quality and provenance across solutions
• Train and mentor team members on data engineering practices and develop educational curricula for data consumers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field preferred
• 7 years of relevant information technology experience or 5 years with a preferred degree
• Experience in data modeling and backend development for Epic reporting and cloud-based data pipeline development
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and experience with Microsoft Fabric
• EPIC Certification required within 180 days of hire
