Job Summary
Leading the design and operationalization of enterprise data solutions, the full-time Texas Licensed Principal Data Engineer will develop integrated data pipelines and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data accessibility and analytics delivery, all while working remotely within Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery, integrating data governance processes and developing enterprise data pipelines
- Manage compliance with data governance and security requirements, ensuring data quality and provenance across solutions
- Train and mentor team members on data engineering practices and develop educational curricula for data consumers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field preferred
- 7 years of relevant information technology experience or 5 years with a preferred degree
- Experience in data modeling and backend development for Epic reporting and cloud-based data pipeline development
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and experience with Microsoft Fabric
- EPIC Certification required within 180 days of hire
