Texas Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist to evaluate medication requests and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process prior authorization requests in accordance with clinical criteria and internal policies
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve authorization-related inquiries

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in state of residence (must be current and verifiable)
• 1+ year of prior authorization experience within a PBM setting (preferred)
• Strong retail pharmacy background (preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership experience or residency/fellowship training (new graduates welcome)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
