Job Summary
Supporting Medicare Part D members and providers, the full-time Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist will manage pharmacy benefit requests, perform clinical reviews, and ensure compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and review pharmacy benefit cases for accuracy and completeness
- Apply clinical judgment and utilize drug compendia/resources for decision-making
- Document clearly within internal systems and contact providers for additional clinical information as needed
Required qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
- Bachelor's in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Comfort with a productivity-driven, computer-based environment
- High-speed wired internet meeting specified download/upload speeds
