Job Summary
A company is looking for a Buyer to plan, coordinate, and administer procurement activities within the Purchasing Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise procurement activities to ensure efficient operations
- Consult with departments to gather information on specifications and sources of supply
- Maintain communication with end-user departments to provide customer service and technical assistance
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Cert TX Procurement Manager (CTPM) or Cert Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) within 1.5 years
- Prior purchasing experience
- Familiarity with Jaggaer eProcurement and PeopleSoft
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred
