Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer to plan, coordinate, and administer procurement activities within the Purchasing Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise procurement activities to ensure efficient operations
  • Consult with departments to gather information on specifications and sources of supply
  • Maintain communication with end-user departments to provide customer service and technical assistance
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Cert TX Procurement Manager (CTPM) or Cert Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) within 1.5 years
  • Prior purchasing experience
  • Familiarity with Jaggaer eProcurement and PeopleSoft
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred
