Texas Licensed Provider Contracts Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Provider Contracts HP (Texas) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Provider Contracting functions and team members, leading daily operations and negotiations with healthcare providers
• Oversee development of provider contracting strategies, ensuring network adequacy and achieving annual savings through re-contracting initiatives
• Develop and implement contracting strategies to comply with regulatory initiatives and manage performance of Network Contracting Staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years' experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care, Provider Contracting, and/or Provider Services, including 2+ years in a leadership position
• 5+ years' experience in provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of managed healthcare provider compensation and VBP methodologies
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing or supervising employees
