Texas Licensed Provider Relations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Provider Relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Provider Relations functions and team members, overseeing daily operations and collaborating with other departments
• Develop health plan-specific provider contracting strategies to establish a sufficient network of participating providers
• Design and implement programs to enhance relationships with contracted providers and improve provider engagement in quality initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health or Business related field or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years experience servicing physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers with Medicaid and/or Medicare products
• 5+ years previous managed healthcare experience
• 2+ years in a direct or matrix leadership position
• Experience with various managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies
