Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the part-time or full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and treat patients with various psychiatric conditions, promote compassionate care, and develop tailored treatment plans while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD, performing comprehensive psychiatric assessments
• Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and empathy in patient interactions
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other mental health professionals

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Texas
• Active, unrestricted DEA license in Texas
• Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC)
• At least 1 year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP
• Comfort providing care remotely via telehealth
