Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnosing psychiatric disorders and conducting individual psychotherapy
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and evaluate treatment plans, monitoring medication usage and side effects
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with HIPAA and national standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfortable working with patients across the lifespan, ages 13 and older
- Proficient in treatment planning and timely documentation using EHRs
