Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy remotely while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and comply with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients aged 13 years and older
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
