Job Summary
To support a growing psychiatry team, the part-time contract Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct online psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care for children and adolescents through a secure telehealth platform.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct online comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management
- Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists and partner with therapists for cohesive support
Required qualifications
- Active PMHNP certification and licensure in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Current collaborating physician or full authority to practice within the state
- Comfort and fluency with virtual care delivery
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week
