Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing psychiatry team, the part-time contract Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct online psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care for children and adolescents through a secure telehealth platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct online comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management
• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists and partner with therapists for cohesive support

Required qualifications

• Active PMHNP certification and licensure in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Current collaborating physician or full authority to practice within the state
• Comfort and fluency with virtual care delivery
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week
