Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, fully remote Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, the position will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe and manage medications, and develop treatment plans in a Virtual Behavioral Health Clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while developing treatment plans
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Required qualifications

• Active PMHNP license in Texas is required
• Minimum of 2 years of prescribing experience post-PMHNP-BC license
• Experience and willingness to treat patients across various age groups, ideally ages 13 and up
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week) during CST hours
• PMHNP ANCC Board Certification is necessary
