Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose psychiatric disorders, providing care to patients across the lifespan
- Conduct individual psychotherapy and prescribe medications while monitoring patients' treatment responses
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients across the lifespan, ages 13 and older
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
