Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth initiative, a Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, establish care plans, and supervise peer support specialists in a remote, contracted role.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initiating visits via telehealth for patients entering Principal Illness Navigation-Peer Support programs
- Document visits in the EHR within 48 hours and ensure compliance with billing standards
- Provide general supervision of certified peer support specialists delivering navigation services
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted APRN/NP licensure in Texas or other specified states
- National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Ability to meet state-specific collaboration or supervision requirements
- Active NPI and eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
- Experience and comfort with telehealth care for adults with serious behavioral health conditions
