Job Summary

To support a growing remote practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy while adhering to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications
  • Document medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate treatment effectiveness and educate patients and families about mental health conditions
Required qualifications
  • 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
  • Experience in Addiction and Mental Health treatment
  • Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, ages 13 and older
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and timely documentation practices
