Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing telepsychiatry practice, the full-time Texas Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide consult-liaison services remotely, focusing on inpatient and emergency department settings, with a requirement of 15 overnight shifts per month, including weekends.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver telepsychiatry services to patients across various age groups in inpatient and emergency settings
- Manage overnight shifts starting between 7-9 PM EST/CST, ensuring comprehensive patient care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance mental health service delivery and patient outcomes
Required qualifications:
- Active PMHNP license in Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of consult-liaison clinical experience in inpatient and emergency department settings
- Experience treating patients aged 5 and older for emergency department consultations
- Availability for 32 hours per week, including overnight shifts
- Telehealth experience required, with familiarity in using EPIC preferred
