Job Summary

To conduct independent utilization reviews, a Board-Certified Texas Licensed Psychiatry Reviewer will work as a flexible independent contractor (1099) remotely, requiring just 1-2 hours per week with no minimum commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent utilization reviews for psychiatric cases
• Engage in peer-to-peer conversations during daytime hours
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality

Required qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Current unencumbered medical license in Texas
• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including residency
• Availability for daytime peer-to-peer conversations
