Job Summary

To enhance the department's clinical expertise in gastrointestinal malignancies, the full-time Texas Licensed Radiation Oncologist will develop a clinical/translational research program, provide patient care, and engage in teaching faculty, fellows, and residents in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies
  • Develop and advance a clinical/translational research program
  • Participate in the education and training of faculty, fellows, and residents
Required qualifications
  • Doctorate-level degree in a relevant field
  • Licensed to practice as a physician in the State of Texas
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (or obtained within departmental timeline)
  • Minimum of five years post-MD degree or two years as an Instructor
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited radiation oncology residency program
