Job Summary

To enhance the academic environment of the Division of Radiation Oncology, a Texas Licensed Radiation Oncologist will engage in a full-time clinical faculty appointment, providing expertise in treating GYN malignancies, mentoring trainees, and participating in clinical research within a hybrid onsite/remote work setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a clinical radiation oncology practice, ensuring high-quality treatment for patients
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows while providing an integrated educational program in radiation oncology
  • Actively engage in clinical research and scholarly activities, collaborating with other investigators and seeking funding for research projects
Required qualifications
  • Doctorate-level degree in a relevant field
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology or obtaining certification within departmental timeline
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an Instructor or five years post-degree in a clinical or research capacity
