Job Summary
To support families in navigating eating disorder treatment, the full-time Texas Licensed Registered Dietitian will provide remote care through telehealth, developing individualized nutrition plans, guiding families in transforming eating patterns, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families in developing healthy relationships with food through ongoing support and education
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team and families regarding meal plans and nutritional concerns
Required qualifications
- Active Texas license as a Registered Dietitian
- Bachelor's degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Experience in eating disorder treatment preferred, with familiarity in family-based approaches a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 patients over a year-long treatment period
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary teams
