Job Summary
To support patient readiness for surgical procedures, the full-time Texas Licensed Registered Nurse in Pre Admission Testing (PAT) will conduct comprehensive assessments via telephone or telehealth, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure adherence to pre-operative requirements in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including medical history and risk identification
- Coordinate with surgeons and other providers to obtain necessary clearances and documentation
- Educate patients on pre-surgical instructions and maintain communication with the care team
Required qualifications
- Current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Texas
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- One (1) year of perioperative nursing experience
- Basic Life Support certification
- Must reside in Texas
