Texas Licensed Registrar
Job Summary
Owning the registrar inbox as an independent contractor, the Texas Licensed Registrar will manage student records, verify compliance with Texas enrollment requirements, and communicate effectively with parents and schools, all while working remotely for 10-15 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the registrar inbox, ensuring timely verification and filing of student records
- Request and follow up on records from prior schools while maintaining FERPA compliance
- Answer parent inquiries promptly and keep the team informed about enrollment issues related to missing records
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a registrar, records, or enrollment role at a Texas school
- Working knowledge of TREx and Texas district records requests
- Fluency in FERPA regulations and requirements for signed parent releases
- Familiarity with Texas immunization requirements for enrollment
- Experience with private-school transfers or NCAA Eligibility Center submissions is a bonus
