Texas Licensed Regulatory Rates Manager

Job Summary

To support electric service and wholesale transmission rate strategy, the full-time Texas Licensed Regulatory Rates Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform cost-of-service studies, and advocate for new rate programs while working in a hybrid schedule based in Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the rate-making process by conducting regular cost-of-service studies
• Performs quarterly retail sales forecasts and revenue modeling of wholesale power and transmission costs
• Advises senior management on market rule changes and new opportunities while designing rate offerings to attract customers

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in electric utility rate design and management
• 3+ years of project coordination or leadership in rate change projects
• Experience with regulatory bodies like ERCOT and PUCT
• Proficient in performing cost of service studies and rate analysis
• Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
