Texas Licensed Renewal Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Renewal Underwriter to provide customer service and manage renewal processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, remarket, and process renewal quotes while maintaining a retention rate of 75% annually
• Provide customer service to retail agents regarding renewal inquiries and train them on online rating systems
• Make outgoing renewal cancellation calls and track all renewals using the SUSPENSE system

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a P&C insurance license in Texas
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
• 2-3 years of experience in Excess & Surplus (E&S) insurance required
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Must be available to work overtime as required by workflow demands
