Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Prepares billings to external sponsors and resolves collection issues
Maintains grant master data and prepares financial reports according to sponsor requirements
Completes audit requests and ensures compliance with accounting principles and guidelines

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
Two (2) years of related experience
Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
Knowledge of federal regulations governing sponsored research
Prior experience in a research academic setting is preferred
