Texas Licensed Risk Management Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Management Director (RN).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the risk management program across various healthcare facilities, emphasizing patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and leadership to address patient care matters and ensure compliance with regulations
• Direct investigations of adverse events and manage claims, providing risk management support to legal services and other departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• 8 years of experience in risk management, including 5 years in management within patient care risk management or quality improvement
• 10 years of risk management experience in a hospital setting, with at least 5 years managing a healthcare risk management team
• Clinical experience within a healthcare entity or hospital environment is preferred
• CPHRM certification and RN license are required
