Job Summary
Evaluating and placing commercial insurance new business opportunities, the full-time Texas Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will negotiate terms with insurance carriers and underwriters while working hybrid or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
- Negotiate terms and obtain quotes from insurance carriers to facilitate successful placements
- Maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners to enhance business opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
- Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
- Knowledge of E&S Marketplace coverage is required
- P&C License required; advanced industry designation(s) (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) a plus
