Job Summary

To support healthcare quality and patient satisfaction, the remote Texas Licensed RN Concurrent Review will monitor and document medical treatment through telephonic communication, ensuring compliance with established guidelines while facilitating patient discharge for specified populations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic monitoring and documentation of medical treatment against established criteria
• Collaborate with Medical Management Physician leadership and internal departments to assess patient progress and care needs
• Facilitate discharge planning for patients by identifying continuing care requirements early in the recovery process

Required qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license
• 5+ years of nursing experience in concurrent review
• Knowledge of managed care principles
