Job Summary
To support after-hours patient care, the part-time Texas Licensed RN Telehealth Triage will manage incoming calls, assess patient needs using triage guidelines, and facilitate referrals to appropriate healthcare resources while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patient calls, providing appropriate options for care based on established guidelines
- Document patient complaints and nursing assessments accurately for medico-legal and statistical purposes
- Maintain professional communication and rapport with patients and healthcare providers throughout the call process
Required qualifications:
- Associates of Applied Science in Nursing
- Current RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
- 5+ years of progressive clinical RN experience in an acute care setting for adult and/or pediatric patients
- Basic PC skills including familiarity with the Windows Operating System
- Typing skills of 30 WPM
