Job Summary
To support the evaluation of teacher candidates, the part-time Texas Licensed Scoring Associate will evaluate test responses, engage in scoring discussions, and ensure adherence to scoring standards while working remotely from San Antonio, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate responses to test questions by Texas teacher candidates
- Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring activities
- Recognize and discuss various types of bias and implement strategies to reduce them in scoring
Required qualifications
- At least three years of experience teaching the subject applied for in Texas
- Have taught the subject or related courses in a Texas classroom within the past three years
- Reside in the state of Texas
- Hold a bachelor's degree
- Must hold a valid and current Texas teaching certificate for the subject applied for or be an approved EPP faculty member
