Texas Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft SEC reports, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial data accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, streamlining financial reporting timelines while maintaining compliance

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Experience with SEC filings
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Accounting/Business; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with NetSuite, Workiva, and Shareworks is a plus
