Texas Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract position that is remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and filing of SEC reports and financial audit support
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and support quarterly financial presentations
• Research new GAAP pronouncements and implement process improvements for financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience; Master's preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience, preferably in Public Accounting
• CPA preferred or working towards certification
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel knowledge, with financial modeling experience
