Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support a diverse portfolio of affordable residential properties and tax credit assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting activities, cash management, and review of accounts receivable and payable for assigned properties
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with the Controller and Asset Managers on cash flow forecasting and prepare supporting work papers for financial statements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline
- 2+ years of real estate accounting experience, preferably at the residential property level
- CPA Certification is highly preferred
- Knowledge of JD Edwards, RealPage, Yardi, or similar property management software is a plus
- Experience with federal and local housing agency reporting
