Texas Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support affordable residential properties and tax credit assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting activities, cash management, and review accounts receivable and payable
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with quarterly and year-end tax reporting
• Collaborate with senior leadership to produce accurate financial reports and forecasts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 2+ years of real estate accounting experience, preferably at the residential property level
• CPA Certification is highly preferred
• Knowledge of JD Edwards, RealPage, Yardi, or similar software is a plus
• Experience with federal and local housing agency reporting
