Job Summary
Supporting technical accounting research and documentation, the full-time Texas Licensed Senior Accountant will manage contract reviews for accounting treatment, participate in SEC reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions
- Prepare and maintain technical accounting position papers and memorandums
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process, including journal entries and financial reporting
Required qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in public company accounting or audit roles, including 2+ years in technical accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA license preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in NetSuite and familiarity with Workiva SEC reporting tool is a plus
