Key Responsibilities

• Represents and advises on all legal matters for hospitals and system services
• Handles a wide range of legal responsibilities and assists with the interpretation of State and Federal rules
• Participates in various committees and meetings as required

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of legal or compliance experience required
• 2 years of healthcare law experience required
• JD - Juris Doctor by State Bar of Texas within 6 months of hire required
• Experience in hospital/healthcare industry, particularly with Physician Group operations
• Representation of hospitals is a plus; medical malpractice experience is not relevant
