Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Civil Engineer, the full-time position will drive the growth of the Civil Practice Team, focusing on Austin and surrounding communities, while managing multidisciplined projects and building a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead on civil engineering projects across Texas, particularly in the greater Austin area
• Lead the expansion of SEH's local public market presence and support the growth of the Austin office
• Develop and strengthen connections with municipal and utility clients, identifying funding opportunities for client success

Required qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
• Residence in or near Austin, TX, with strong regional connections
• Minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including team leadership and project management
• Proven track record of driving business growth and market expansion in civil engineering
• Comprehensive understanding of public infrastructure funding at federal, state, and local levels
