Texas Licensed Senior Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coder - RCO Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, PCS, and CPT codes
• Communicate with the education team and providers for documentation clarification
• Ensure timely and accurate billing by working on coding-related charge reviews and claim edits

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years of multi-specialty coding experience
• Proficiency in coding professional services and/or outpatient technical services
• Experience in training and educating providers
• One of the following certifications is required: CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT, CIC, COC, CPC, CPC-A, CRC
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical abbreviations is a plus
