Texas Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to lead high-exposure cases in insurance defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes and independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys

Required Qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school and active bar license in Texas
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, with significant civil litigation and trial experience
• Experience handling insurance defense matters and managing full case responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and staff
• Proficiency in MS Suite and experience with time management systems
