Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while developing compelling case themes and providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop a case theme that effectively counters plaintiff strategies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Active bar license in Texas
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in civil litigation and trial preparation
- Significant experience in insurance defense matters and trial experience (first- or second-chair preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
