Texas Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while developing compelling case themes and providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys while maintaining routine client communications

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved school
• Active Texas bar license
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, with significant civil litigation and trial experience
• Experience handling insurance defense matters, preferably in excess insurance or commercial litigation
• Proficiency in MS Suite and experience with time management systems
