Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while cultivating client relationships and providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff arguments effectively
- Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation
- Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced attorneys and staff
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school
- Active Texas bar license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, with significant civil litigation and trial experience
- Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Experience in insurance defense matters, preferably in excess insurance or commercial litigation
