Texas Licensed Senior Financial Consultant

Job Summary

Providing expert functional consulting for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, the full-time Senior Financial Consultant will support the CAPPS Financials program using Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, focusing on General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Project Costing in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for General Ledger, Commitment Control, Cash Receipts, and Project Costing modules
• Manage system configuration, production support, incident management, and fiscal year-end activities while ensuring compliance with state policies
• Lead testing, release management, and statewide CAPPS enhancements while coordinating with various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with State of Texas financial policies and PeopleSoft technical tools
• 12+ years of experience in PeopleSoft FSCM system configuration and functional setup
• 10+ years of experience supporting CAPPS Financials within PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
• 10+ years of experience providing Tier 2 Service Desk support and managing incident resolution processes
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and compliance with security best practices
