Texas Licensed Senior Oracle DBA

Job Summary

To ensure the stability and scalability of critical database environments, the remote Texas Licensed Senior Oracle DBA will design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai while managing multiple environments that support ETL activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement database upgrades and maintain performance tuning across multiple environments
• Monitor database performance, recommend efficiency improvements, and ensure data integrity
• Assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of integrated database systems, including security compliance and disaster recovery procedures

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c or higher and Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance
• Proficiency in advanced scripting languages such as Linux and SQL
• Experience with high-availability solutions like GoldenGate and Active Data Guard
• Familiarity with public sector organizations and hosting vendors
• Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft products is preferred
