Job Summary
To support a growing Pharmacy Benefits Management team, the full-time Texas Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician will provide advanced support to members and providers, resolve complex inquiries, and assist with prior authorization processes in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advanced support to members, prescribers, and pharmacy providers through various communication channels
- Research and resolve complex pharmacy benefit inquiries, including claims and formulary questions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for team members, assisting with escalated issues and supporting training activities
Required qualifications
- Active and current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential
- Minimum of 2 years of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or PBM environment
- Minimum of 2 years of PBM experience, including knowledge of formulary management and claims adjudication
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy claims processing and prior authorization coordination
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with the ability to work across multiple systems
