Texas Licensed Senior Social Worker

Job Summary

To support the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program, the remote Senior Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) will independently provide advanced social work services to assess and address the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to interpret patients' social, emotional, environmental, and financial needs
• Develop treatment plans or refer cases to appropriate professionals to ensure patients receive necessary care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient experiences and evaluate individualized care plans

Required qualifications:

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas
• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of social work experience, including at least 1 year of evidence-based counseling
• Experience with trauma-specific treatment modalities preferred
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria
